AMG LPN School Tuition

AMG School of Licensed Practical Nursing Tuition

AMG School of Licensed Practical Nursing Tuition. The AMG school in downtown Brooklyn is a new LPN program offering a Certificate in Practical Nursing in 12-14 months. The classes are small. The instructors are energized. However, is the tuition too high?

For the 2014-2015 school year, AMG School of Practical Nursing tuition is $18,000. This breaks down to roughly $1,500 per month of attendance.  Considering that one can attend at least one other LPN school for less than $3,000 total, why would go to AMG?

The high price gives many people sticker shock. This means that if you can find a way to pay for it, AMG school offers a quick, almost guaranteed slot when you want it. There is no waiting list.

Bear in mind, the AMG School of Practical Nursing does not offer financial aid. You are going to have to afford this school completely on your own. The administration offers payment plans that allow students to pay at they go. You take one class at a time and pay for each one individually as you move through the program. This makes the cost more affordable. However, we are still talking about $1,500 per month.

If you can afford it and don't want to wait for a slot to open up at a much cheaper LPN school, AMG School of Practical Nursing offers a day and evening program that you can begin relatively quickly. Here is a link to the full AMG School review.
